I've missed most of this series and would like to have seen the one on Phone Shops. However tonight's episode looks like a beauty. I can't wait to see what Mary has to say to the Estate Agents.

Having read all the above comments I can only say that my experience of kitchen dreams is one of the worst in my life.
If Mr.Miller is such a great bloke let him come and see MY kitchen with all its faults and answer my questions.

Come on Mr. Miller show some backbone and come and see this pensioner who you have ripped off.

Or are you the COWARD I think you are?

If Vance is so certain of his reputation and the goods he sells why when someone complains is the attitude of his staff so bad.Why wont he take credit cards, Why wont he refund on faulty/damaged items. Why does he totally ignore court orders. Any genuine retailer should be only to happy to comply. I rest my case.

Running a small graphic design business we are always under pressure to deliver. I now understand what pressure is on reading information on Hilary and her hectic work schedule.

Growing up in Belfast in the 70s wasnt the best place to be, and with just my mum to look after me, it was very difficult. My mum put me though university and was the catalyst for my career. I can understand the hardship and complete determination Hilary must have had to get the company going.

Keep it going Hilary and continue to inspire us all.

I worked for Vance Miller for over three years. I worked from the minute I arrived till the minute I clocked out. I never had any problem with Vance, he seemed to be pleased with my work. My problem began in October 2009 when I was told my services were no longer required and not to return to work on the following Monday. I did return and because of comments made by my "workmates" I was given a weeks wages and told "go home because you cannot work in that atmosphere, we will give you a job in one of the showrooms" That never happened. I tried to ring Vance and other people but no-one answered me. My texts were never answered either. I know Vance was in court during this period so I cannot blame him. I am now in the process of taking him to court for unfair dismissal and loss of earnings. I am now almost up to the limit on my overdraft which I have been using for my bills. I suspended my morgage but it is now due to be paid at the end of this month. If Vance Miller reads this I hope he will pay me what he owes me and not ruin what is left of my life. I was a good, conciensious and loyal worker for him, I even had cards and letters from his customers thanking me for my help. I hope he will be the fair person that I knew.

Hi Hillary

It was the first time that I saw your documenty where you travel to poorer parts of the country and I just want to say that you are very special and unlike many rich people who think money is their everything YOU are the first person I have come across who can prove that true happiness does not always come from money. May the LORD bless you aboundantly

Good to know that some one is self sufficient to provide an alternative to Ebay.

There is a long way of progress for Ebid. They should get more publicity in US. Because I don't like Ebay charging me for putting my stuff up (even when it doesn't sell) while Ebid doesn't which is good.

and Amazon's commission is a lot.

So I think Ebid has a potential to grow. They should do some marketing in US, get their name out.
