European E-commerce set to grow 25%
A report from emarketer said the market will triple in size by 2011, reaching $407 billion, compared with $196.9 billion today. The report goes on to say that second-tier markets and a new wave of Eastern European countries will begin to contribute greatly to this figure by embracing e-commerce.
The UK, Germany, and France still remain on top for now, but it will be interesting to see how things progress in these other countries and which big European and US brands want to take advantage of it.
Never a better time to start an e-commerce business then!
