Inspiration for those who are struggling
I have had two failed businesses and i am always having problems day in day out in my current business. I try to learn from mistakes and problems that i face on a daily basis, but sometimes problem after problem does get to me and gets me down, it loses my focus and motivation.
So i found this video today that really made me think - i applied it to business and it reminds me you should never give up, no matter how bad you think things are.
This video is a non-graphic video of a baby buffalo that gets snatched by a group of lions, it is chewed by a few of them while they try to drag it out of a lake it has fell into, while this is happening a crocodile bites the other end of the baby buffalo and a tug of war between crocodile and lions begins until the lions win and pull the buffalo out, then a clan of older buffalo’s come over and charge the lions tossing one lion 3 metres into the air!
After further charges by the older buffalo’s the slightly bruised baby buffalo gets away FREE!
So i guess i am comparing the baby buffalo, small and in-experienced as the startup entrepreneur struggling against the big competitors, the lions and the crocodile until friends and mentors the older buffalo’s rescues the baby buffalo, but all along the baby buffalo does not give up and is rewarded with life and some very embarrassed lions!
