Eighth on our list is David Green, founder and president of retail giant Hobby Lobby, started making frames nearly 35 years ago. Since then, he has grown his company to the point where it is now doing $1.4 billion annually. Notable for both his business acumen and his love for people, Green, like Cathy, keeps his stores closed on Sundays to allow for those within his company to spend time with family, rest, and worship. Because of this practice, Green’s entrepreneurial spirit has allowed his employees and associates to become successful both in terms of finances as well as in their lives.
